Get to know me!

I am a postpartum doula based in Copenhagen, certified through Doula Training International (DTI) and in the process of completing my birth and full spectrum certification this fall. I’ve lived here for nearly four years with my husband. We moved from our hometown of Vancouver, Canada, inspired in part by my French roots (oui, je parle français!) and my partner’s Polish background, which together guided our leap to Europe.

My path into this work has been shaped by both lived experience and academic grounding. With a background in social justice and gender studies, I’ve always known I wanted to be in spaces where I could offer real, hands-on support, especially for women and Queer folks navigating the complexities of reproductive life. Alongside my studies, I spent years working with young children, including as a special education teacher at one of Copenhagen’s international schools. Being present with families during vulnerable and transitional moments helped deepen my calling to doula work. With a background in gastronomy, I also bring my passion for food into my postpartum care—cooking for others is one of my favourite ways to show love, and I offer meal prep and nutrition support to help nourish new families during those tender early days. I'm also deepening this work by taking nutrition courses through the Women's Health Nutrition Academy, so I can continue offering informed, holistic support that truly feeds both body and soul. From fertility to abortion, birth, postpartum, and everything in between, I believe in meeting people exactly where they are, with care that is inclusive, nonjudgmental, and grounded in autonomy.

At the heart of my practice is a deep belief in community care. I’ve always felt that we’re not meant to go through life’s biggest transitions alone, like bringing a child into the world. It truly takes a village, and I strive to be a villager that centers your needs, your voice, and your choices. While I’m not what you’d call a highly spiritual doula, I do hold a deep reverence for the mystery of life and death. I simply know there is something profound about holding space in those transcendental, in-between moments. My role is not to speak for you, but to walk alongside you, offering evidence-based information, deep respect, and care that centers your autonomy and experience.

I’m not here to advocate for one “right” way to give birth or make reproductive choices. Whether you’re birthing at home, in a hospital, or making decisions that don’t involve birth at all, I’m here to support you. I believe inclusive, equitable support should be the standard, not the exception.

I’m here for balance, not perfection. For trust, not pressure. For real, loving support, wherever and however you need it.

Thank you for being here. I’m honoured to be part of your journey.

Why is there a pomegranate in my logo?

Sacred and ancient, the pomegranate has long been a symbol of fertility, creation, and the deep mysteries of life. With its countless ruby seeds hidden beneath a tough, protective skin, it speaks to the hidden richness within every beginning— a fruit of promise, of nourishment, of life waiting to bloom.

Across cultures and millennia, the pomegranate has represented not only fertility, but also abundance, transformation, and the cyclical nature of birth, death, and rebirth. In Greek myth, it tied Persephone to the rhythms of the seasons. In Middle Eastern tradition, it was a gift of the goddess, a vessel of sacred wisdom. In many spiritual traditions, it symbolizes wholeness; the many contained within the one.

it is a perfect emblem: the unseen becoming seen, the sacredness of support, the fullness of life held in the hands of another.
